Cnectd is a new application in the series of mobile messaging and social networking for smart phones. Cnectd lets you chat across iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Symbian devices.

What’s does Cnectd have that the other mobile messaging apps don’t have.
Cnectd has the option to find new friends in your area, search for your own friends and has the option to make a private/public group.

Cnectd had to come with something something new and they did. Cnectd seems to be the first client for mobile phones that has a search option to find friends and you can join public groups or private groups to chat.

Cnectd has some similarities with the chat client IRC for PC. IRC also uses the group chat and private chat mode and is one of the biggest social platforms in the world. “Cnectd has a big chance to be and get the biggest on the mobile platform”.

First of all is it gonna be a payed or free service
I asked Cnectd if its gonna be a payed or free service and Lawrence from Cnectd told me “It seems that we are going to keep Cnectd as a free service. I cannot guarantee this for the extended future, however for the short term it will certainly be free and hopefully free forever.”

Is this a new company or another smart kid?
Lawrence from Cnectd stated the following: “In terms of information about the company, we are based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The holding company is called MCI Consultants.

Speed during chatting
The funny thing is, I’m in a country that doesn’t have 3G, so I’m using GPRS and the messages where delivered instantaneously to the other party. I find it sending the messages faster then its competitor WhatsApp.

A little information on the side
Lawrence from Cnectd gave us good information to keep us curious and told me that there’s gonna be a new version of the BlackBerry, Android and iPhone versions of Cnectd that will be released shortly. We have just released a small update to the Symbian version. The major changes will come mostly to the BklackBerry version. It will function a lot better than the previous version and also includes an improved interface. The Android version also includes some significant updates, and the iPhone version will include mostly bug fixes.

“Cnectd is something something new and its getting big REAL fast” So don’t hold your horses and download the client and tell your friends it’s free and easy to use.

I’m definitely curious what’s coming in the new update and what Cnectd will bring in the future. I know for a fact that I’m staying on top of things.

WhatsApp is almost done on all platforms and is Conquering the world with mobile chat.

And now there bringing it also for S60 phones. (Phones that work with symbianware see compatible list below in the post, because your phone needs to be of one of these brands Nokia, LG, Samsung and Sony Ericsson)

I recommend you to use the software first for free and after the free trail period you can purchase the software.

Why pay immediately when you can use the software for free the first 3 months Right!

Experience with the help desk
The service of WhatsApp is super good I can say. I moved to another country and emailed them that I bought the licence for WhatsApp when I used a dutch phone nr. Just had to gave them some of my info and done. Really fast email response. I would give the helpdesk a triple A+.

Paid for the service and re-installing/switching phones:
Its stated on the website: Note: if you already paid for the service, you will not be asked to pay again

That means you can switch phones but need to keep the same phone nr. When you re-install the app on your phone or any phone and use the same phone nr. it does some hokus pokus and when your phone nr. check is complete with the server of WhatsApp it will auto register your Version of WhatsApp.

Een aantal mannen kleden zich om in de kleedkamer van de golfclub.
Een mobiele telefoon gaat af en een van hen begint een gesprek
Iedereen in de kleedkamer luistert natuurlijk mee.
MAN: ‘Hallo’
VROUW: ‘Schat, ik ben het. Ben je op de club?’
MAN: ‘Ja’
VROUW: ‘Ik ben aan het winkelen en ik heb een onwijs mooi leren jasje gezien. Het kost maar 1000 euro. Mag ik het kopen?’
MAN: ‘Natuurlijk, … als je het mooi vindt moet je het kopen.’
VROUW: ‘Ik ben ook nog even langs de Mercedes garage gegaan.
Ik heb de nieuwe 2010 modellen gezien. Er was er eentje zo mooi.’
MAN: ‘Hoeveel kost ie?’
VROUW: ‘80,000 euro’
MAN: ‘OK, maar voor die prijs wil ik wel alle accessoires erbij krijgen.’
VROUW: ‘Geweldig! Oh, ja nog een ding …. het huis dat we vorig jaar zo graag wilden kopen, staat weer te koop. Ze vragen 950.000 euro.’
MAN: ‘Nou, breng maar een bod uit. Bied maar 900,000 euro.’
VROUW: ‘OK. Ik zie je later vanavond. Ik hou van je!’
MAN: ‘Doei, ik hou ook van jou.’
De man hangt op. …….. De andere mannen in de kleedkamer kijken vol verbazing naar hem.
Dan vraagt hij: ‘Weet iemand van wie dit mobieltje is?

Alrighty then I’m still glad I left The Netherlands. It’s still 30 degrees like every day and all the other days here hot like a mother shut your mouth, I like it. I had 2 days of carnival and have to say that was crazy as a other mother shut your mouth again.

Yes yes yaw you don’t stop..

Finally arrived at Curacao and the weather is nice I can tell you. I had a very interesting flight, I can say it was one of a kind. All sort of people in one airplane from various destinations, The Netherlands, England, Poland and I even think some from Russia with luv. I have to admit I only saw one good behind and she was blond and had the voice of one of my exes hahaha

Finally after two mistakes I finally got my new ticket to Curacao..

First ticket was a problem with my payment. ( they took my money and then my bank took it back :/, Why? I don’t know )
Second ticket I spelled my last name wrong :/, “my mistake” but I called them and instead of changing my name the guy canceled my ticked :/ how lame is that..

Flight full so I had to look for a new date..
